Some strate­gies are done explic­it­ly to build trust, estab­lish your ‘social license’ to oper­ate, gain access to a key stake­hold­er, or to achieve sim­i­lar pre­lim­i­nary results that must occur before oth­er strate­gies can move for­ward towards con­ser­va­tion out­comes. Since they lead to impor­tant inter­me­di­ate results, they should be explic­it­ly includ­ed in the results chain. Results chains from sev­er­al strate­gies can be linked to show the inter­con­nec­tions and tim­ing of strategies.
