When con­sid­er­ing engage­ment with part­ners that might pose a rep­u­ta­tion­al risk, such as a cor­po­ra­tion, the pro­posed engage­ment should advance con­ser­va­tion and have a defined, tan­gi­ble con­ser­va­tion ben­e­fit, that will result in increased ben­e­fits to con­ser­va­tion with mea­sur­able results with­in 3–5 years.
